Still Pond Sangha is being created to organize the programming of multiple communities that meet in practice and learning with Brian Arnell.
These communities will need a structure for supporting Brian, staying in touch with one another, planning programming, and funding expenses by receiving donations.
This new organization is called Still Pond Sangha, in honor of the still pond which has been a source of depth and beauty, generating many wonderful teaching stories.
Supporting the Sangha
Still Pond Sangha follows the Buddhist tradition of offering teachings freely. Online and in-person meditation sessions, classes, and individual meetings require no mandatory payment. In the case of retreats, participants pay only the cost of the facility and meals.
Dana means “generosity” or “giving” in Pali, the language of the Buddha. In this spirit, we rely on individuals’ open-hearted generosity to support our teacher and to provide retreat scholarships in case of financial need.
If you choose to practice dana by making a tax-deductible donation to Still Pond Sangha, please use the "Donate Now" button below.
Send a note if you'd like.
